In February 3 - 12, 2007 WSF conducted a surgical mission at Romblon District Hospital, Romblon, Philippines. We performed 423 surgeries; saw 148 patients in our OB/GYN clinic and gave 19 acupuncture treatments for a total of 590 cases. We donated enough medical supplies to the hospital so they can take care of the rest of the patients who came to the surgical camp.

We conducted our annual surgical brigade at Catarino Rivas Hospital in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on September 1-10, 2007. Dr. Marc Levitt & Dr. Richard Falcone of Cincinnati Children's Hospital's Colorectal center and Dr. George Rodriquez of Long Island Jewish Hospital, NY, conducted 3 days of training for local surgeons and WSF participants on Cloacal surgery. 100 colorectal surgeries were performed. Dr. David Leber, a plastic surgeon performed 35 cleft lip/palate surgeries. Our next scheduled surgical brigade will be on September 6-13, 2008.

From January 7-13, 2008 we are on a surgical mission at the Krishna Institute of Medical Science Hospital in Hyderabad, India. We expect to perform 300+ surgeries.

We are exploring 3 possible sites in Africa for a surgical mission/s in 2009. We will have small groups of 15 or less participants.
